THE FLEX PATH PILOT PROGRAM IS NOW CLOSED
The Flex Path pilot program was launched by Los Angeles County in January 2012 to test market acceptance of a simple, flexible alternative to the Energy Upgrade California Home Upgrade Option. The response was overwhelmingly positive from both homeowners and contractors. Due to Flex Path’s early success, Los Angeles County increased the original goal of 500 projects to 1,500 projects, and then again to 1,650 projects. As a result of the strong demand for the Flex Path program, incentive funds are now fully committed and the program has been closed.
- Your home must be a single family detached residence.
- Your home must be located in Los Angeles County.
- You must be the Utility Service Account Holder.
- You must use an Energy Upgrade California approved Participating Contractor.
Total Energy Upgrade California incentives cannot exceed project cost. When the total eligible incentive amount is greater than the project cost, the Los Angeles County incentive amount will be adjusted to reflect actual project cost. Please ensure that you have not previously applied for a Los Angeles County incentive for any of the same retrofit measures selected in your Flex Path application.
We would like to thank our supporters for helping to make Flex Path a great success! The program would not have been possible without the combined efforts of our Participating Contractors, Energy Champions, Cities, Councils of Governments, and Los Angeles County homeowners.
Based on the success of the Flex Path pilot program, the Southern California Regional Energy Network will be offering the Home Upgrade program in 2013 and 2014. This web page will be updated as more information becomes available.
In the meantime, the Los Angeles County team encourages you to continue to take advantage of Home Upgrade and Advanced Home Upgrade Options Incentives of up to $4,500 through Energy Upgrade California.
